Open auditions have been announced for the role of Lydia Deetz in Beetlejuice: The Musical, ahead of its West End debut.

The show opens at the Prince Edward Theatre on Wednesday 20 May 2026 and will run until April 2027.

Based on the classic film, the story follows teen outsider Lydia as she encounters the mischievous Beetlejuice after moving into a very strange house.

The open call takes place on Thursday 22 January in central London, with the team looking for a female-presenting performer

playing late teens.

The production is directed by Alex Timbers, with music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect.
